DOUBLE LINE
Classic make up with a twist... this look is timeless and modernat the same time. To begin swirl Shadowline onto the Black Inkeyeshadow. Steady your elbow on a table and look slightly down intoa mirror. Gently hold the outer corner of the eye to create a smoothbase. Starting at the inner eye draw a line towards the outer corneras close to the lashes as possible. When you get to the outer cornercarry on the line to create an upward fl ick. When the line has dried youare ready to start your second line, again using Shadowline swirl ontoLagoon and apply just above the fi rst line following that as closely aspossible. If you fi nd creating the line too daunting start by placing dotsclose together above lashes, starting from inner to outer corner. Thenfollow the dots to create a line.
VINTAGE AND MATTE
Any of the gorgeous large inky matt shades can be used to createthis look. It’s all about the texture and shape. Apply Sledgehammer allover the eyelid with the rounded shader brush. Then blend into socketline from inner to outer corner and sweep out towards the temples. Toadd more depth apply another layer of Sledgehammer on the eyelids, the colour should be stronger on the eyelid and softer towards thesocket line and outer corner of eye. Using the mini blender brush applySledgehammer under bottom lashes from inner to outer corner, blendout towards the temples to reach the shadow above. To add moredepth apply Gothic Grape above upper lashes with mini blender brushand blend, then repeat under bottom lashes. A touch of Vanilla Ice onthe brow bones will fi nish the look and emphasise the matt shadow.
MATTE & SHIMMER
This look can also work with different shades – it’s all aboutcontrasting textures. Apply Glacier to the eyelid using the roundedshader brush, blending the colour up to the socket line. Continue tolayer the shadow on the lids until you achieve a block of matt colour.Remember to blend around the edges so the colour fades away. Usingthe mini blender brush apply Amber Green under the bottom lashesfrom inner to outer corner, then blend to soften the look. This line canbe quite deep to give a soft smokey feel. Make sure both colours meetat the outer corner of the eye.
SMOKEY LINE
This is a great way to get a beautiful smokey eye in a rush...the shape is the key to bringing this look right up to date. Start byapplying Powder Puff to the eyelid and blend upwards into the socketline. To create the smokey line we have mixed two shadows.Start by applying Black Ink with the mini blender brush, beginning atthe inner corner, just above the lashes, and drawing a line sweepingup slightly at the corner. Repeat this line under the bottom lashesagain starting at the inner corner and out to meet the line above.Using the mini blender brush apply Moon River directly over Black Ink.Then blend together until you have created a smokey line. The shapeyou have created adds to the drama of this look. To create even moredrama why not line the inner rim of your eye with your faithful black kohl liner.
