difficulty achieving the solid glitter eye. In the
interests of fairness therefore, we are going to
now give you a more detailed step by step using
an amateur (guided by Leanne’s instructions)
and not using a real make-up artist! Lucky
Charlotte from the office is going to attempt
this and I am going to record the drying times
between coats, which is I believe the main
‘sticking’ point!”

LEANNE'S NEW TOP TIP!
Leanne recommends putting a layer of amber green shadow beneath the glitter. Sweep over eyelid and into socket line to create a base colour for the glitter.

A FEW IDEAS ON
HOW TO USE YOUR
TIME INBETWEEN DRYING!
1. Catch up with friends
2. Meditate
3. Stretch
4. Listen to your favourite music

THIS HAS BEEN CREATED USING RAW AND REAL PHOTOGRAPHY WITH OUR OFFICE CAMERA!

STEP 1: NEW TOP TIP!
Apply base layer of Amber Green. Sweeping across the eye lid and into eye socket. Repeat to strengthen the colour.

STEP 2
Apply the first layer of glitter using the colour of your choice. (Keep dipping applicator back into glitter pot several times). Begin at the lash line and continue to dot colour all over eyelid. This will leave a fine layer of glitter. You have to wait for this to totally dry before applying second coat. Try not to open the eye between drying.

DRYING TIME 4 MINUTES!

Once dry open your eye and stretch the lid.

STEP 3
Repeat the process dabbing glitter across lid again and remember to keep dipping into pot to get more and more glitter.

DRYING TIME 6 MINUTES!

Once dry open your eye and stretch the lid.

STEP 4
Fill in any gaps and leave to dry. Apply lashings of mascara and line the inner eye with your favourite black kohl.

READY TO PARTY!

NOTES:

This look requires a lot of patience and we think on balance a much more easy to achieve glittering eye is our favourite green one pictured here. As you can see the glitter is simply dotted across the lid concentrating on inner corner to create a beautiful twinkle.
