From the makers of Britain's Next Top Model, Kitchen Sink To Catwalk followed six fabulous women aged 40 and over as they competed to become the latest big thing in modelling. The lucky ladies were given the chance to fulfil their modelling potential in a series of challenges, experiencing re-styling, high fashion looks, pampering and catwalk training, as they fought for a feature in national magazine ‘She’ and representation by top modelling agency Models 1.
All from different backgrounds, they lived together and worked together as they turn their backs on the everyday grind and slip into the role of supermodels, being aided and mentored throughout by top fashion designer Scott Henshall. The opportunity was given to reinvent themselves with a new career in this thrilling series that literally takes women from their kitchen sink to the catwalk!
We were invited down to task the models on a photo shoot trying out some of Frontcover’s key looks and directing the shoot. Each one of the six models took part in an up close and personal beauty shoot, made over by our make-up artist Leanne Shaw and her team and shot by Frontcover's photographer Mark Enstone. At the end of the day we picked Christine Reed as the winner of our round.
